Ordering & Delivery

How do I order a TestSmart kit?

Simply choose your preferred test kit from our website, answer a few questions and check out securely online. No GP visit is required.

How will my kit arrive?

All TestSmart kits are shipped in plain packaging. Your privacy is always protected.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are dispatched daily. Most customers receive their kits within 2–4 business days Australia-wide.

Can I order multiple kits?

You can choose more than one screening option per order. However each option can only be selected once.

Collecting Your Sample

Is it easy to collect my sample?

Yes. Each kit includes step-by-step instructions and all required components. Most people complete collection in just a few minutes.

Do I need to visit a clinic or doctor first?

No. TestSmart allows you to test from home. Our medical practitioners issue pathology referrals and review results for you, so there’s no need for in-person appointments.

What infections can I test for?

Depending on the kit, you can screen for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea or HPV.

Can men use TestSmart kits too?

Yes. We offer options for both men and women, covering the most common STIs.

Results & Accuracy

How accurate are TestSmart kits?

Every sample is tested by an accredited Australian pathology laboratory using the same methods as those used by sexual health clinics.

How long do results take?

Results are usually available within 3-4 business days after the lab receives your sample.

How will I receive my results?

You’ll be notified when your results are ready. Results are confidential and only visible to you and our clinical team.

Will my results go on my medical record?

Your results are confidential, clinician-reviewed, and not automatically shared with your GP. You can request to share them at any time.

Treatment & Follow-Up

What happens if I test positive?

You’ll be asked to book an appointment with a TestSmart clinician, who will provide guidance on next steps. This may include treatment, referrals, or further assessment.

Do I need to see a GP if I test positive?

Not always. A clinician will review your result and advise whether treatment can be arranged through TestSmart or an in-person GP visit is required.

Can TestSmart provide retesting?

Yes. Retesting is recommended after some infections to ensure the treatment worked. You can easily order another kit online.

.Can I get treatment for my partner too?

Partner treatment depends on the infection and individual circumstances. A clinician will advise on next steps, which may include your partner seeking their own testing and treatment.

Privacy & Security

Is my information private?

Yes. TestSmart uses encrypted systems to protect your personal data. Results are never shared without your consent.

Will anyone know what I ordered?

No. Kits arrive in plain, unmarked packaging.
